Current Gallery Show:
Julene Ewert
December 1 - 31, 2024
Julene Ewert loves to use common materials in surprising new ways. Her inspiration comes from nature, travel and everyday life. Much like her own spirit, her art expresses honesty and tenderness while giving a lighthearted whimsical view–always with vibrant colors. Many of her images reflect a combination of styles created on canvas and digitally, combining both worlds.
Julene grew up in Troy, Idaho, surrounded by a family of artists bursting with creative energy. Her roots to the Palouse began with her great grandma. Her parents still live on the original homestead and active farm in Troy.
At a young age, Julene knew her destiny was to become an artist as well. She received a Bachelor in Fine Arts with an emphasis in graphic design and advertising from the University of Idaho.
Her artwork can be found in galleries, fine gift stores and homes globally. Julene finds her passion where she lives in Moscow, Idaho, an undiscovered part of the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Her husband and son give her inspiration and brutally honest critiques. Always cherish the tiny moments.
Visit the Good Food Gallery this month to see Julene Ewert art or come to the ArtWalk December, 19 from 4 - 6:30 p.m. at the Co-op.
