The Good Food Gallery features the art of Jeanne Wood, whose expressive drawings celebrate the unique beauty of people from Moscow and surrounding areas. Jeanne’s work is grounded in her belief that “if we are beautiful, it is not because AI has made pictures of us flawless, it is because living our experiences has made us beautiful.” Her portraits aim to capture the depth of her subjects’ lives, revealing qualities like strength, humor, and self-reflection that go far beyond surface impressions.

In each piece, Jeanne strives to portray the authentic character of her subjects, emphasizing the richness of real, lived experiences. Her art offers a connection to the people who shape the community, inviting viewers to appreciate the individuality and shared humanity in those around them.

Accepted Categories:
Pieces must be able to hang on the wall. Craft/traditional arts, photography, drawing, mixed-media/multi-discipline, painting, printmaking, and sculpture are all acceptable as long as they are able to be hung. Questions? Email us at marketingmanager@moscowfood.coop.

Art will be displayed at the downtown Moscow Food Co-op, located at 121 E 5th Street in Moscow, Idaho.

Submission Rules:
Two dimensional artwork should be ready to hang with a frame or wrapped canvas. Maximum size (including frame) is three feet high by six feet wide. All art must be suitable for family viewing. The Co-op is not responsible for advertising sales or any damages to the installation as it is in an unmonitored, public space.

We are happy to work with the artist on display options and making sure work is displayed as the artist wishes.
